Sai Gowthami Dubagunta

Gowthami is an Architect – Planner working in the urban development sector since 2015. She holds a Masters degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Centre for Environmental Planning and Technology (CEPT) University, Ahmedabad and a Bachelors in Architecture from Jawaharlal Nehru Architecture and Fine Arts University (JNA & FAU), Hyderabad. She supports NIUM in the areas of town planning rules and regulations, land use planning and management, land based financing, urban governance and poverty alleviation. She is skilled in literature review, field research, data analysis, report writing and design. She has delivered training sessions at Research Institutes in the fields of town planning legislation, land assembly and management techniques and infrastructure development.
Her past experience with Administrative Staff College of India (ASCI) and Centre for Urban Land and Real Estate Policies (CULREP) includes the assessment of sanitation status across five different States in India, improvement of service level standards for solid waste management, planning sectoral vision and strategies for Nellore and policy research in land market. She has published her research findings in the form of working papers, conference proceeding and journal article.
At NIUM, she is lead representative for urban planning and held responsible for Business Development. She is presently working on town planning related studies funded under World Bank.
